Blogging Your Way

Today is the wrap-up of the Blogging Your Way e-course. Holly from Decor8 and Leslie from A Creative Mint were our wonderful teachers the past four weeks. The course goes way behind the more technical aspects of blogging to tap into your passions and interests and unlock your creativity. Holly tells about her personal experience from five year fulltime blogging, how to find your niche and enjoy the global conversation more fully. Leslie shares her beautiful pictures and gives advice on photography and styling.

The e-course was highly motivating and fun. Above you see a picture of a moodboard I made for the e-course. The ideas was to create an inspiration board that best defines your style and the things you want to cover on your blog. Or what you like personally. Well, it's not hard to see where my interest go: natural materials and foreign places..

Cataloging interests on line, share it with others, connect, motivate others, it's all part of this wonderful thing called blogging.

A little bit about the teachers:

Holly Becker is the lady behind Decor8. The Decor8 blog features fresh decorating ideas, beautiful interiors, and independent art and design. There are many design and interior blogs out there, but Decor8 really stands out. A visit to that blog feels like chatting with a good friend. You leave with new energy and inspiration. I think it's the personal approach Holly takes to blogging. When you read her blog, you not only discover styling ideas or beautiful design, you also get to know the person behind the blog. It's like you come to visit her, grab a cup of tea and make yourself comfortable.

Decor8 regularly features the Color me Pretty color stories. Leslie Shewring from A Creative Mint knows how to tell a story in color! Her beautiful photographs and moodboards are a big source of inspiration.

Holly and Leslie - and Thorsten of course! - thanks a ton for all you put into this e-course, it was wonderful!
